This is the current development of my concept art, in the final piece Im going to include the lighting of the third piece and the wall in the second piece as well as the grass fluffy plants as grassy populators for the ground. I also will be bringing through the glass plant as an asset that glows and affects lighting colours as shown in the first and third piece.

For the second asset, set to be a flower i found my favoured design quite quickly, that being design two, inspired by look 9 of the 2007 Spring Jean Paul Gaultier collection. Keeping the blue colour pallete and motifs of lavender and pale yellows. I may add spines to the designs when developing the asset to the final design.

These thumbnails are of the first asset idea explored, I looked at the behaviours of parasitic plants and fungi for inspiration. I took inspiration from plants like Ivy, often found climbing up trees and suffocating the tree. Also several of the growths on the trees are in locations where it would be most dark and moist, this is something I took from fungi, as it is a common behaviour in fungi. This asset is inspired by look 14 of Jean Paul Gaultier's Spring 2007 Couture collection as modelled on Jessica Stam

Currently I am looking at real world Fauna and Jean Paul's 2007 Spring/Summer collections, I like the theme of ethereal being and will be using said theme to make something inspired by the garden of Eden from Christian stories. I plan to draw multiple variations and designs of these 6 plants, drawing ten thumbnails for each one in colour. The plant concepts are as follows, 1.A tree trunk with fungal growths in circular shapes and spikes coming out of them growing to make a new plant on top of the currently dead tree trunk. Later on, in animation I may animate a few spores coming from the spikes to add some atmosphere. 2. A flower with spines to help its pollen travel elsewhere, Inspired by my own cacti and certain plants that I've found stuck on my walking trousers when I've gone walking in the New Forest. 3. I need to work on the weight distribution with this one, but it is supposed to be a tree, inspired by stained glass that's present in one of ...
