Maya Workshop 1
A pre-introduction to maya using examples of building blocks. Assignment for after this workshop is to make more variations of arrangements of the building blocks using snapping. With more, or less building blocks.

My main prompts are Zoo, Magician and Rollerskates, so I am working on current colour schemes for the character to see what colours stand out against a Zoo's typical colour scheme. This idea is mainly inspired by how in multiple animations that the main character is a brighter colour to make sure they are notable. For example like how Belle is a bright blue which is a strong contrast to the browns in the village in Disney's animated 'Beauty and the Beast'
My name is Jennifer! I am currently studying Computer Animation Arts at UCA, my main motives for doing so are an energy for dramatic storytelling and expression that cannot be captured and shown outside of animation. The key thing I aim for throughout my course here is to make a cohesive, relevant and understandable story line from a story of my own making.
